Awards
Each year, CSGS recognizes the achievements of both faculty and students. Each award category has different awards.
The awards in this category consist of the Outstanding Mentor Award and the Outstanding Contributions Award.
CSGS sponsors master's thesis awards, which are given in four different disciplinary categories on a rotating basis: a) Math, Physical Sciences, & Engineering, b) Humanities & Fine Arts, c) Social Sciences, Business, & Education, d) Life Sciences. In addition, each year, the Non-traditional Thesis/Project Award is given.
Three Minute Thesis (3MT®) is an academic research communication competition developed by The University of Queensland, Australia that challenges graduate students to succinctly summarize their research for a non-specialist audience in 3 minutes or less.
